Experimental Study of a Tilt Single Slope Solar Still Integrated with Aluminum Condensate Plate

The low freshwater productivity of a conventional solar still is considered challenge for researchers due to the high temperature glass cover or basin water depth. In current work, newly designed was suggested according climatic conditions Yekaterinburg/Russia, which included an enhanced condensation and evaporation process by spraying thin film on hot absorber plate then passing generated vapor free convection over aluminum (low temperature). distillation system under study tested during July 2020 29 chosen as typical day from 08:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m. results showed that largest amount condenses (about 46%), rest cover. This means effectively improved flow humid air naturally (free convection) (its surface lower than cover). cost analytical calculations producing one liter distilled 0.063$.
